Das war die Aufgabe, die heute in unserem Adventskalender steckte. Mit Feuereifer wurden da passende Kisten gesucht, sie liebevoll mit Goldpapier beklebt und dann sorgsam die Dinge ausgewählt, die jemandem vielleicht Freude in den Advent bringen könnten. Die Erfahrung an Nikolaus beschenkt zu werden aber auch Andere zu beschenken finde ich so wertvoll und bereichernd. Ganz besonders spannend war dann natürlich, im Dunkeln Nikolaus zu spielen und leise schleichend das Päckchen abzulegen. I've been battling this horrible cough the past week. I've had to reschedule clients and miss a Christmas party, because let's face it no one needs any more germs this Christmas, especially new Mamas and babies. Last night my cough was at its peak 🤦‍♀️ I didn't want to keep my husband up all night, so he opted to sleep in the guest room. My son didn't want me to sleep by myself, so he grabbed his pillow, million stuffies and blanket and we had a sleep over. You guys my heart just melted ❤ We've both been battling this cough so we were 2 peas in a pod. Turns out we both slept soundly with no coughing. Last Christmas I updated our stockings so they all matched and remade Rory's as a hockey skate rather than figure skate. My friend said I should keep the fabric incase our family grew and I needed to make another and I thought she was crazy! Good thing I listened, cause our family did grow by 4 paws this summer and I did need to add in another stocking!
